What brilliant place. Had a chest infection but could not get a doctors appointment so went to Woking Walk-in Centre. Seen amazingly quickly and after a thorough check over, was told I had bronchitis and given antibiotics

Felt quite unwell but not an emergency over the weekend so went to the walk in centre in Woking. I was treated as 'urgent' and seen within minutes. All the staff were fantastic; highly professional, experienced and proficient. I was seen and discharged within an hour, totally satisfied and feeling much better. Fantastic service from start to finish - cannot be faulted. As an NHS employee but not often a 'user' I am so proud of our NHS services, thank you all.

Very business-like - which suits me perfectly. Service at reception desk is quick and simple. Waiting rooms are open areas rather than rooms - but that's fine. I saw one of the nurses and, again, the service was brisk and efficient. No unnecessary hanging around - no long chats about the weather. The service was just right and made sure they could treat as many people as possible in the time available. PERFECT.

Very polite staff. Waiting area could be improved as it was full and waiting times are lengthy. Perhaps a different seating arrangement so that people are not facing each other. Perhaps a display board could indicate how the queue is progressing to avoid the constant guessing. Medical staff brilliant. Was very grateful to have access to this wonderful service, despite the wait.

Reception staff particularly friendly, especially Tina, so cannot fault staff. However, do feel that waiting areas could be tidier and floors and walls look like they could do with a good clean. There is often a queue to get into the car park, when there are obviously spaces available. Also there are too many spaces reserved for disabled, these are never fully in use.

I developed a painful ear infection and went to my surgery, Parishes Bridge at the West Byfleet Health Centre, for advice and treatment on 20th November 2014. I was told in an offhand manner that I could see a doctor on 11 December - 21 days later!! I went to the Woking Walk in centre and they saw and treated me one hour after I arrived. OK, so I had to wait but I expected that. Absolutely brilliant.

I waited for 10 minutes with no appointment and received extremely good and professional medical care. What a fantastic opportunity for Primary Health Care to follow the lead set by the Woking Walk In Centre. All doctors surgeries should follow this model with no appointments and qualified nurses who usually have much better empathy/patience than doctors should deal with 80% of cases. Doctors should only be used where the problems are complex both in terms of treatment and diagnosis. Andrew Pocter Woking Surrey

I was impressed by the care and courtesy of the paramedic Tim, and the nurse Meicle. They did a great job dressing my wound after I was bitten by a dog. Also explained well the way forward, and gave me a prescription for antibiotics just in case the wound became infected, they were very calm, pleasant and polite. As an ex-nursing sister I was very impressed with my care. One improvement I thought of was ...that in the DIFFERENTLY ABLED(my word ,I PREFER,instead of disabled)W.C. The toilet paper was out of reach for many people sitting on the toilet.Just thought I would mention it.
